We collaborate with a variety of animal welfare nonprofits. These include sanctuaries, rescue organizations, and advocacy groups that promote ethical treatment and care for animals. At the moment, our focus is on bovine animals, because we think they are the most vulnerable today. We hope to expand support to other animals soon.
We prioritize supporting grassroots animal welfare nonprofits that is doing impactful work in animal welfare. We carefully vet all nonprofits we work with to ensure they meet our benchmarks for transparency, ethical practices, and measurable impact on animal welfare.
Each nonprofit goes through a thorough review process before becoming one of our supported partners. Our partner, Kind Kart also follows a vetting process with a team on the ground. While we review and renew a nonprofits’ support on our platform yearly, Kind Kart conducts quarterly audits to ensure their donations match their demands.

Your donations remain completely anonymous unless you explicitly choose to share your details. Befriend Cows values your privacy and will never share your personal information without your consent. We do encourage our donors to share their act of kindness on social media and encourage their social contacts to help.
Our partner, Kind Kart will send you an order delivery confirmation email when the order is delivered to the charity. We prioritize transparency in how donations are used. Befriend Cows is managed by a small group of passionate animal lovers. Our goal is to ensure that the maximum value of the donation goes directly to the beneficiary. We don’t take a salary out of the donations for our personal use. Our partner, Kind Kart operates similarly and ensure maximum value of the donation goes directly to the beneficiary. They work with wholesale providers and use the volume discounts (5-15%) to pay for the transactional fees. This helps them to not charge any fees for most of our transactions.
Our monthly giving program will support our other projects related to engaging the local community in the animal sanctuaries via workshops, field trips etc., creating educational content, marketing costs, and building technology both for Befriend Cows and for other animal welfare nonprofits.

Befriend Cows was founded and registered as a 501(c)(3) USA charity in 2024. Prior to that, our Founder and President Preethi Srinivas was deeply involved in helping animals since 2020.
While our primary mission focuses on animal welfare, we understand the interconnected relationship between animals, people, and communities. Some of our initiatives also support educational programs and sustainable practices that benefit both animals and humans.
